Data Processing Addendum

This addendum describes the intended controller-processor relationship between merchants and Ausefy for payment-recovery services.

Status: public baseline. Final DPA language is finalized during contracting and counsel review.

Roles

Merchants are generally the controller for their customer data. Ausefy acts as processor for the services it provides.

Processing purpose

Ausefy processes personal data to route, recover, report on, and support payment-recovery workflows.

Processor commitments

process data on merchant instructions
apply technical and organizational security measures
support data subject requests and incident workflows where applicable
flow down obligations to approved subprocessors

Deletion and return

At termination, Ausefy returns or deletes merchant-controlled personal data unless retention is required for security, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
